RockStar Productions Inc.'s first show at the "Double L," located on 307 Grant Ave., Millvale, PA 15209, so the beginning of "The Lost Warrior," began on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, PA. In the years to follow, as the popularity of RockStar Productions Inc. expanded and The Lost Warrior's show was gaining momentum, the local bar down the street asked if he could do a show there as well, so The Lost Warrior found himself at another event. A few years later, the bar was sold due to the owner's retirement, but the Warrior was still DJing at the Double L but was looking for another gig.
In the weeks to follow, one night while hanging out in Pittsburgh's South Side, The Lost Warrior walked past this really cool-looking building that seemed out of place. Walking in, he said to the man behind the bar, "hey, I'm a DJ with RockStar Production and I'm looking to pick up another show," and from that moment on a friendship was born. The Lost Warrior was housed at Pittsburgh Sports Bar & Grill for many years. The part owner at the time, Gary Wilks, and The Lost Warrior had the place rocking every Saturday night for over four years or more. In the meantime, Gary owned another bar in Morningside, on the outskirts of the Burgh, called Wilk's Bar & Grill on Morningside Avenue, and The Lost Warrior picked up another gig. Playing at a combined years total at both bars was over eight years of great experience.
As the years went by, The Lost Warrior had three solid shows where he could showcase the skills he needed to remain in the business. The word got out, and The Lost Warrior and RockStar Productions found themselves being scouted by bar owners who wanted the same show at their bars all over Pittsburgh. Many other shows would follow as bars would come and go under new ownership, but The Warrior was still rocking the music scene. At that point he picked another two other venues to fill the week and the rest would go on to be the greatest run of popular bar events for years to come.
